Getting Things Done - what & how I've been doing it.

what I'm doing:

I basically use iGTD as a daily planner... I set up a project for the next 3 days,  and list all the little tasks I know I need to get done.

If I don't get them done in the period in question,  I move them to a new project (which is the next 3 days).

Of course, since I'm retired I can be pretty relaxed about all this.
the flaw in all this?  daily life emergencies tend to derail it.  But so far it's been useful.
