Black-Eyed Peas with Bacon Recipe (modified)

12 oz turkey bacon
2 lb blackeyed peas
1.5 tsp oreg
1 tsp of ground coriander since I didn't have thyme
1 tsp pepper
14 oz diced tomatoes

no salt added there's plenty in the bacon & tomatoes.
